The EU Taxonomy: Relevance and Application for SMEs

What exactly is the EU Taxonomy and what role does it play for SMEs?

The following webinar will present the background of the taxonomy in an understandable and practical way and show which requirements apply, to clarify how companies can approach taxonomy reporting step by step and benefit from it. A special focus will be on the relevance for small and medium-sized companies.

The webinar is organised by Climate & Company and WeShyft GMBH. The language of the webinar will be German. We are pleased to welcome the following speakers:

- Laura Kaspar is an analyst at Climate & Company and an expert in corporate sustainability reporting. Previously, she was an auditor at the European Court of Auditors, where she audited, among other things, the European Union's Sustainable Finance legislation and conducted numerous training sessions for the Court's departments.

- Kai Dombrowski is a Senior Advisor for Sustainable Finance at Climate & Company, focusing on EU taxonomy, sustainability reporting and strategy consulting. Previously, he was an expert in the Sustainable Finance team of WWF Germany and has many years of experience in the management of medium-sized companies and as a lawyer.

Both experts will give a keynote presentation and then answer questions for about 25 minutes in the Q&A session.
