Can the CEE region boost its innovation ecosystems?

Innovation is of growing importance in the EU, with more attention from governments and with more financing available from a range of actors.
Yet, the CEE region and Europe more widely often lag other countries’ efforts to develop and scale-up innovative start-ups or technology companies. How could we improve the CEE innovation ecosystem? What steps could governments, policymakers and the financial sector take to improve the environment and outcomes?

In this episode our speakers focus on the innovation ecosystems in the CEE regions, moderated by Andrew Gray, Impact investor from Tilia Impact Ventures. The episode was recorded during the CEE Sustainable Finance Summit in May 2022.
